When temperatures drop, rodents and insects head indoors. A little preparation in autumn can save you a winter of trouble.
Checklist
- Seal gaps around pipes, vents and cables.
- Fit door sweeps and repair torn window screens.
- Clear leaves and debris from against the house.
- Move firewood away from walls.
- Clean gutters so water drains away.
- Check the attic and garage for signs of nesting.
Mice can squeeze through a gap the size of a pencil. If you find droppings or gnaw marks, call us for an inspection before the problem grows.
